Jingisukan
Still cooking
Almost done!
The Sapporo Beer Garden in Sapporo, Japan has several restaurants offering this dish that the Japanese find so ridiculous that they named it after Genghis Khan. What is it? Just lots of meat that you cook yourself. Basically a Mongolian Barbeque. As an American, I think it’s funny that the amount of meat they serve is considered ridiculous. (There was a little more than can be seen in this photo, but not much.) I like my meat, damnit! Ridiculous, indeed.
It was pretty damn good though, that’s worth mentioning.
